Hi guys, I was the second highest bidder (with £85).

I've just been contacted by the chap to ask if I want the item. I've only just had a T25 recond so I could pick this up as a spare?

Sounds like the seller bumped his own auction of a mates account then offered it to you.. I wouldn't bother and let him relist it. Offer him less I you do go for it.
