Hi everyone just wondering if I can get some advice
Please
When to the garrage to take some pic of the r5 and notice that the wing mirrors look like they have gone dull over the years
Does anyone know what colour there meant to be?

No, they were not originally painted from the factory. So it should just be unpainted grey plastic on the wingmirror mounting brackets. The wingmirror case itself is body coloured.

Heat gun can work really well on tired plastics but id do a bit of practice on something first(hairdryer might work)

Sorry but I cringe inside whenever anyone recommends this, I don't know anyone who has tried this but I can't imagine it ending in anything other than tears. The best treatment I have found is Auto Finese "revive" but this part is grey anyway not black so don't expect too much.

Depending on how bad the plastic is but on black plastics i use Auto Glym Bumper care

Make sure their extra clean. Clean down with an all purpose cleaner.
Auto Finesse Revive is the best product I've used on plastics.

smooth peanut butter works a treat  sounds mad but trust me it works ;) for realy bad parts smear it in peanut butter put in a bag and leave in a warm place (airing cupboard or conservatory in the summer) obviously a bit difficult with a phase 1 bumper but mirrors should be possible :smokin:
