Either Renault or Mikes spares, I always used OE leads regardless of power and torque and never had a problem

is this your issue....

you can either put wd40 on the plug caps at the end and slide them further down the leads so it will go on easier, or use thinner leads like said

Where did that price come from?

I seem to remember back in the day the king lead being about £40 ish quid and HT leads about £15-20 from Renault

Can't believe the hype that goes round regarding how good std leads are..... Just buy magnecor reds for £65 with a lifetime warranty doubt you'll get better...

Everybody i know who has bought magnecor leads has had one fail at some point, no matter what make of car. Standard leads last for miles longer.

Hmmm, In ten years of racing, sprinting etc in everything from a 1.6 nova to a 400Hp rx7 I've used them on every car i've owned/run and never had a lead related ignition fault, I can see the point in a mint oe car but I suppose it's all down to personal choice.. The fact that they swap them striaght out if youve got a problem (and a receipt) says it all for me...

I have to say my Magnecor leads have been excellent, I've had them about 8 ish years now and they're as good as new. I used to have standard leads and they were also very good but looking a bit tired hence why I replaced them.

I say buy whatever is cheapest out of the 2! :D :agree:

I think it's more back in the day when 'tuner BS' indicated uprated everything when in fact in more than 1 case (proven) OE parts were up for the job and cheaper. Why pay extra for fancy coloured leads when OE items worked just as well.
