Whats it worth?

1991 h plate glacier White gtt. 110k, standard, poorly gearbox and front bumper. No mot or tax, no history. Been a few years since I purchased a gtt so keen to know a rough price as I used to pay a few hundred for them!

- Bumper £110+ Paint
- Interior - I'm guessing this will need some seats £120
- No history limits ultimate value (if intending to achieve a high standard)

He's mentioned 800, I mentioned 500. Looks really tidy in the pics but don't they all!! I'll see tomorrow. Would make a nice companion for the grey one!!

Stick to your guns, bargain hard if you want it...perhaps even leave and then reinstate that your offer of £500 stands via text/e-mail.

As you know these cars swallow money and parts are not cheap.

obviously hard to tell from just that description, if its a dog then 500, if its in fair nick its worth 800. If not il buy it, would love a standard white one for oe project

If it had an mot worth £1k all day long... So have a look and think about will it pass an mot... Any rust?

Gearbox aint to bad....a good chancemto replace clutch and clean the box up (easier to sell later on with a recent clutch & gearbox change) £150if you diy

Front bumper is the downside.... Finding a good condition 2nd hand on is hard now days... Cost of getting a new one and painting easily £250

So £800 for the car, + £600 for above & a service, mot, tax....

£1400 for a road legal clean 5 = bargin...

If you turn up and see rust, dodgy paintwork etc walk away or offer alot less...

I well over paid for mine then :cry: lesson learnt well it's a few people off my Xmas card list.. The only positive is I can now rebuild 5s :p

Been and looked. It's had a full respray at some Point, reasonable job. Started fine and sounded sweet. No obvious rot apart from slight rust on rear arches. It's even got mot til end of July! Couldn't really find too much to worry about so done the deal! This one is definitely staying oe! Anyone got a front and rear bumper in glacier White?
