was at FCS last year but not running, wasn't AWD when i saw it which was a shame
EDIT: just read the thread, totally different car! lol
there is a white one with evo engine also
Brilliant, Evos are the ultimate driving machine on the road, they just look a bit, well you know, put all that technology in a old shell, best of both for me. I wonder how much shorter it is, I know the Norris bogie was shortened and that performed well. I'm going to have a good read of this thread :)
Shame it's not an escort mk3 series 1 turbo :(

Crazy and amazing project  That is some serious ambition to persue that project and make a pukka job of it, in the drive and overall finish of it. Good luck to him and i'll keep my eye on that! Thanks for posting that link up brigsy!
nice project that! reminds me of a lil project me an a m8 have put some time in to. a little less work on the bodywork than the 205 project! :)

wasn't sure if ya ment mine an my m8's project the Evil colt lol engine drops straight in and prop was shortened by about an 1'' - 1'' 1/2 and the boot floor was cut an shut for the diff and mounts wer unstiched off evo and welded on to the floor of the colt. fairly straight forward and voila its an animal! ;)

You make it sound so easy! Not as much work as you think though, I see what you mean. How does either of them drive, which ones yours? Difficult but entertaining i'd imagine?
there was a white pug 205 with evo 8 engine at ppc in the park last weekend, running 608 bhp fwd, gt3580r turbo and a heavy modded focus gearbox with gear ratios picked out of diesel/rs/st models:) using final drive as signal/pick up to limit boost in the 6 gears:cool:
went very well:smokin:
