I hope his restoration skills are better than his grammar, doesn't take much and it's probably wrong but I always think the care taken over the ad extends to the car as a whole. Looks clean, though the rear is very low. I also like to see pictures of the interior and engine bay, they tell a story as well.

Looks tidy, but ill quote the add

"got a massive folder ful of receipts even got the original pdi check sheet the original owner had 25 years ago from purchuse"

H reg is 90/91, at most its 22 years old:laugh:

Well...despite several attempts to contact him to arrange a time to go and view we heard nothing. Not good if you want to sell a car and give a good impression eh..

Maybe the fog light hole has one of that black plastic air ducts in it? Difficult to see from the pics.

The bonnet alignment is all to cock. It makes it look like it's had a belt at the front but maybe it just wasn't refitted correctly when the louvres were done.

When someone's text, spelling, grammar are that bad it probably means they don't read anything such as the stuff on here about these cars and what goes wrong and likely wouldn't know a bad car from a good one.

A friend recently had a 5GTT with new sills and work done. Transpired a previous owner had just 'over plated' the rusty sills with new panels and under them the car was too rotten too restore and sell on.

Cheers for the honesty and info mate. We didn't go to look at it ie end.

My mate is on the search for a good standard solid phase 2 in white if anyone knows of one for sale.

I wouldn't want to be looking now. There certainly don't seem to be as many available in comparison to 2/3 tears ago and they seem to be poor or overpriced not very good. When I started searching there were pages and pages of them on PH, lucky if there are half a page now. The good ones are still out there they just don't seem to surface that often, hate to think what I would have to pay for mine now.
