I went to romac the other day to get some paint.gave them the paint code and they got it me off the shelf.

got ut home and tested it but its the one with the purple flip.is there another paint code for just the blue with no flip.

Type 1 is without the flip ;)

As on my raider. Couldn't be arsed with trying to get my painter to get the flips to match :laugh:

Well actually, no. Depends on the paint scheme but they should have colour chips if you take a mirror or something along. It's 449 sport blue but at one local factors they have only 2 shades bluer or with the purple tint. And at another place only 1 purple tint in 1 scheme and 2 blue, 2 purple tints in the more expensive range.
Just make sure you take an item that's original or the most common colour of the car as it may have had the wrong shade painted somewhere else at some point. There's so many raider and tungy, not to mention most colours, that have odd panels blown in at some point.

Ooo, controversial ;) Variant #1 was the 449/purple flip on my old Raider.

wasn't there a few flips on each colour... something to do with changing the paint colour in the booths at the factory?!

Variant 1 on an ici scheme is the pearl one, which was mine but then really tinted to get the purple flip in it. We found 11 variants of 449.lol most looked s£&t.:laugh:
