ive just swapped from b18ft back to c1j and still have the efi fuel pump on car, would this be too much pressure for the 5's fuel pressure regulator? or would i be ok to leave it on:confused:

Shouldn't be, what pump is it?

The pressure shouldn't be a problem as the Phase 1 GTT Fuel Pump chucked out 3 BAR all day long. The reason that people up-rate their pumps is to get a greater volume of fuel for a given pressure.

I use an EFI fuel pump on my raider, it was fine with the standard fpr.:)

Just make sure your fuel pressure reg is in good working condition

The ph1 pump is basically an efi pump so dont worry about it, its a high pressure setup compared to a n/a carb setup. If its a big bosch 044 or similar the standard regulator might not cope, suck it and see??

You shouldn't have a problem, I run an inline Walbro pump on my 5 (fitted it as it was lying around and the std pump was shot - the pump is meant for 2ltr turbo inj and good for 500hp) not had a prob with the regulator yet touch wood....
