5 / clio dials?

hi,

just wondering if somebody could tell me if the clocks from the clio are the same as the 5, obviously they will not have a boost gauge incorperated in the rev counter, will they be a straight swap or are the connectors different?

I know the clio williams has a cable for the speedo where as the five is electronic

the fixings are slightly different, however i think you can swap the plastic faces

:agree: I have clio 1.4 rt dials in mine at the moment till I sort out swapping them for a set from the williams.

cheers guys, the reason being the white dials have now turned more of a yellow colour, was told about a clio being broken and was gonna have the dials but didn't want to buy them if they wouldn't fit

sorry, probably didn't make myself clear there, wanted to replace my 5 gt turbo dials with clio 16v dials . so now under the impression the gt turbo box and clocks are electronic and clio is a mechanical set up, so not a straight swap

also, the digital fuel gage wont work i'd imagine..

Only some of the 16v clocks came with digital guage. Also you would need to swap over 2 of the lights as they are the other way round. Cant remember which ones though without looking.

dale could you find out what lights need swaping on the clio 16v dials for me please as i putting the clocks in tyhe 5 tomorrow. hopefully will will be firing up the f7p in the 5 tomorrow:)

Ill see what I can do tomorrow night, need to go outside to the cars to take some pictures so should be able to work it out then.
