clio 182 knocking

mummys clio knocks, i see some spacers are available to pack out the tops as these wear and knock, but mummys are beyond this and the drivers sides battered..

without taking it all apart to find the shagged bit is anyone 100% sure whats at fault.. :)

Be interested to find this out too as mine knock abit on full lock, may well the the top bearings and rubbers but never seen the set up so not sure what it all looks like

i just slotted these on and it kicks the passenger side one well clear but the drivers ones still touching...

both hats have touched the body, pop yours off and you can see if yours are doing the same.. im ok with using the shim, but its not the fix, i expect its like the gtt and has a rubber underneath thats saggy and flat..

i cant have it apart as its always in use, i need the parts before i fix.. always the problem when working on your own motors, or mums:D

The shocks are piss easy to remove, takes about 10 mins, & yes there is a rubber donut under there once you drop it down.
