Thought i would share a few pics with you guys of my latest addition, some of the bodywork bit faded but going for a full respray soon. what you guys think?

some may have seen it at french car show where i took it and surprised at it being the only one!

back to bare metal including the removal of the underseal from the sills so that a better, smoother one can be fitted, a job that took 4 hours on its own!!

the rear arch was shot so that been fully done now

this was a brief idea i had of polishing up the car in bare metal and laquering like a delorean ;)

almost ready for paint then need to get the stickers made up, stainless exhaust sorted, 2 wheel bearings, anti roll bar bushes and front shocks to be fitted as they looking a bit sorry for them selves.

wax oyl under neath
rebuild!
get interior front carpets made up
try and get seats un baggy!
sort out saggy headlining
get carb set up
get a new exhaust system something loud and shiny!
mot and take to shows!

yea i use same user name on there but dont get much answers lol iv spoke to phildini on the phone a few months back but having some useful advice or access to some parts would be helpful :)

great work , god i miss my gordini .... i have a set of 5 newly diamond cut and totally refurbed wheels for the car in the loft if youre interested at all and loads of spares..:)

the mechanical parts are almost done but still have some bits to do like the bumpers doing black and bonnet vent etc as well as building up the rest, etc

and have discovered i need a few parts:

boot strut
boot lock and key
new bonnet badge
turbo badge ( mine is beyond repair)
yellow bulb cap ( mine is smashed)
number plates made up may go for black and silver :\

if you can help me with any parts let me know and also im liking the idea of a side exit exhaust if anyone has pics of one on a gordini?

the gordini is ALIVE!!! started it today with a quick charge and bit of choke and ran fine , no miss fire, nothing! not bad seeing as it hasnt been started in 9 months!

front end is being built up, whilst boot is being sprayed again ( I noticed a blemish i wasnt happy with)

the new floor carpet is in but i do need a new bulk head carpet now as it looks a bit worse for wear.

Mot hopefully for next week, week after then the new 2.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust is being made up ready for the shows !

its safe to say i am a bit excited!!!
