Personally, I wouldn't bother with buying TVs off eBay. Mainly because of the amount of problems I have had with TVs not working properly and having to take it back, and with some of the sellers, it is a reet ball ache to return them - poor communications and whatnot. Also, lots of TVs on eBay are recons, not actually new. Plus they aren't really cheaper than what you get in the shops.. Not last time I looked anyway! :)

Amen to that. I bought my Goodmans 32" LCD from ebay, described as new with no more than 20 hours use and the screen had some bad scratches on it. I can only see the scratches when the TV is off or if the sun is shining on it at a particular angle, apart from that it's fine. It was cheap but, alas, cheerful. Considering the price of TV's that I have seen advertised recently I would go for a brand new one from the shops any day now.

I didn't expect much for the tv, but i've sold quite a bit of gear on ebay recently.... got less than i expected for all of it.... damn credit crunch.
One of my auctions for 7 alloy wheels, the winning bidder hasn't contacted me about pickup... hate that . I've sent email after email, and tried phoning them etc... I'm not going to let up, going for a strike on their account for not paying, then hopefully the 2nd highest bidder will be up for a 2nd chance offer...
Got a pine table on there, going for 99p as well :p
