View Full Version : Engine rebuild paste
Whats everyone using these days? I've always used Thixo but I don't think it's available anymore? I'm going to be in need of some soon so any recommendations? :)
i thought they changed the name to mastixo.
eitherway i just use B&Q multipurpose silicone....
That rings a bell actually? I seen to remember an alternative when I last asked (years ago) but it cost....
Cheers for the info Sparkie :agree:
Atv silicone or cgb sell some stuff also ,you want it to be oil resistant ,but engine rebuild paste ?? Think you have the names mixed up for rebuild I used graphogen also
I mean the sealant used to seal sump and timing cover etc. Renault called it Thixo paste. Graphogen is used when assembling the bearings and so forth :)
