is the c1j the same a the gtt lump? only i cant tell them apart? the look exactly the same? whats different? someone must know:D
The 1400 na c2j? Block and crank is the same iirc

Same block, different internals to lower compression ratio :)

cheers :agree: only as i have been given a campus lump for spares. its only covered 28,000 miles thought it would be good to charge it but o well.

Campus engines are generally in better condition as the cam bearing housing don't generally show the same kind of wear.
Everything is a straight swap, differences are cam profile, and pistons
Pretty sure Colin did a turbo'd Campus engine, went well :)

sod it i may have a go!:) as i have all the parts in the garage ther than a head gasket.
You could always just take a few mm off the pistons with a grinder;)

head might be different!! check the number of manifold studs,i know the older ones had either 4 or 2 exhaust ones missing!and its also not as thick...71 or 72mm

got one of those too.:). sounding like it easier to just use a gtt lump lol
