ktec side exit snetterton?

Anyone know roughly the db reading of a ktec sidey?
as im booked for snetterton on the 24th and i really dont wanna arse about putting my 2inch scorpion system back on if i can help it as thats only 86db

Don't know how accurate they are but if you have a smart phone there are loads of db rating apps, may be worth a little go just to give you a really rough idea.

I don't know if things have changed, but Snetterton never used to noise test. I ran my Coupe there a handful of times with the unsilenced Devil sidey. No problems - And there was some stuff there that was A LOT louder.

This was before the revamp though, so it might be different now.

yeah since the new build they noise test all the time, seems google play store wont work so i cant download an app either

might just drive down the event before mine and get it tested at least then i can change the exhaust over before hand

Good idea - It'll be tested by their gear as well :agree:

What's the level now then? It used to be 102dB static, which is fine for most sideys.

105db limit with a 92db limit drive by got a feeling it will be very close as the scorpion was 86db stand still

I doubt you'll have a problem. The only places I've seen sideys have any problems are Castle Combe - 100dB static, and Donington - 97dB drive by.
