Help!!!!!!

Am slowly putting my engine back together and I have forgotten a few bits. So
I have no doubt I will be posting a bit in the future lol.

The battery earth to the starter motor.....what is it's correct route?? I am sure I have done it wrong. It also has a metal bracket on the starter end of the earth cable. Where exactly does this go??

That's not the earth cable mate, suspect it's the +ve cable and bracket mounts on back of block just above sump flange. You'll need 8mm bolt aprox 20mm long in the furtherest hole nearest drivers side.

Doh!! Lol. I meant the positive. I have bolted that bracket which holds the cable onto the block.

But what is it's exact route after that to the battery???

At the moment it's exiting the starter motor, out the end of the starter heat shield,along the bottom of the block to that bracket.....but then where??

It obviously heads up to the bulkhead, through and to the battery positive.

But who knows this exact route please??:)

Depends where your grommet is located on the cable, if near to starter motor end then up through 20mm hole nearest washer bottle and across to battery passing fan cowling. If grommet is further along cable then clip cable across bulkhead on the two plastic cable/pipe clips and then up through 20mm hole near battery.
