I'm going stripped out track style in my car and spent hours removing the glue off the doors that was used for the doorcards.I used tardis tar remover, petrol, sticky stuff remover that halfords sell, hair dryer and loads of others.

I also have the insulation to remove off the floor which I am doing by passing a heat gun over then scraping off but will still be left with sticky residue. Also got the glue to take off the wheel tubs where the carpet was stuck on.Got the sticky to take off what was under the spoiler too.

Just wondered if anyone knew any good stuff to save me time please?

thinners

autoglym intensive tar and glue remover,. the key is small areas at a time, as the thinners/products evaporate very fast.

Try an orange before buying any goo.

Cut the orange in half , run the flat face on the sticky bit. Repeat....

Not pulling your leg.

i spilt some 'grip' tyre treatment in my boot, it soaked into the bitumen and it literally fell off. downside was it made the car fecking stink!

the hard floor stuff just chipped off with a blade scraper left no glue underneath. The sides were a pain but i just used thinners on that. didnt take long.
