I posted a thread on here a little white ago explaining my missfortune

http://www.rtoc.org/boards/showthread.php?t=26722

Had engine rebuilt and nothing but issues since.

Anyway i have taken the rocker cover off, as it was leaking over torqued and damaged. Gonna fit a nice chrome one. On removing the rocker cover, i have noticed that one of the bolts that goes through the pedestal to hold the rocker shaft assembly on, is completely undone. Just sitting in the pedestal. When you spend good money on a rebuild you expect good workmanship.

Does anyone now the torque values for these bolts?
Just wonder what else they have bodged up.

Will create a build thread soon!

Just make sure the threads in the head aren't stripped... Its a fine M7 thread so doesn't take much to strip it.

Just had words with the garage, and they said they will fix FOC.
Gonna drill out to 8mm then fit an insert, is this good or no?

If i were in your shoes matey I'd be half inclined to mug this garage you've had work done and see/start using certain people in the know on here. Chances are they'll only make a co%k up doing any/more work on your gt turbo.

Where abouts are you in the uk?

Id drill and tap a new bigger thread.
Stud and nut.
10/15 Newton metres possibly a locking nut for piece of mind.
