Renault prices?!!!

Called Renault today for a price for a phase 2 fuel pump! I was expecting £100 max!
£230 or £460 plus vat!!!!!! Wtf? Called up demon tweeks and got an updated aftermarket one diliverd for £106! Why so expensive from Renault?

theres no way i would go to renault for anything way over the top for prices sod the genuine bits.

majority of main dealer components are rediculous, but i believe they are worth it generally for like likes of suspension components wheel bearings and the like, anything else aftermarkets fine.

Remember buying my first set of spark plugs from renault some 20yrs ago only to find when removed from box they were champion plugs. Local factors were half the price even back then for same plugs.
