Got to spend a bit of time on my project today for the 1st time in months, got a fair bit done. :)

I need some split pins for the hub nuts and a big one for the driveshaft as I've not got the pin. Anyone know of the sizes I need offhand, or perhaps a set available cheaply online?

not sure about the wheel nut but im sure a local fastener/online you could get a 5mm split pin for the shaft,is it 5mm or 4.5? cant remembers...or even proper pin aint much.

When i removed the roll pin fromt he driveshaft it broke on way out, i took the 3 pieces it ended up in to a local nut/bolt place - they had a box full so i took a few all for about 50p

The OE driveshaft isn't a normal split pin, it has a second pin inside. Hope this helps.

The shaft pin is not a split pin, its a roll pin x 2. TBH you can just use a split pin, small nut an bolt will also do.

I was looking to use a split pin for the driveshaft, was just wondering what the sizes were as my car isn't at home so its a bit of a pain getting over to it to measure. Hub nut ones are probably more important.

Sorry for such a lame thread btw. ;)

have edited my post, i ment roll pin. But yer a large split pin can do the job, i used a split pin for a bit at one point and it was ok, a smaller split pin will probably break though

Mike, do you supply the driveshaft pin and hub nut split pins? If so please drop me a PM with payment details. I'll have an idle screw bung/seal too please.

Hi, yes I have most items on the shelf, will need to check the hub pins though.

Thanks

Didn't receive a PM Mike so I'll source the parts from elsewhere as I want to get it out this weekend for setting up the fuelling etc.
