Um well that's open to debate but I think I'm right in saying the general consensus is the Pioneer KE 2090. (philips unit in the Raider:confused:)
Another smart looking white five btw :)

shame i can't see all your photos but the new ones look good :agree:
it may be my memory but is that the right cap for the expansion bottle? it's either blue or brown and i'm not sure which it should be  (they have different pressure ratings and i'd hate to see your clean engine bay get covered in coolant)

Not,sure yet - need to check it out. Might get a custom job made up.

Blue - 1.6bar

I like that. Is it standard diameter? It must flow better as no centre box. I wonder if it is still quiet like the OE.
Looks good mate. Is it stainless steel?

Your`e not wrong there Trev I recently bought a fully restored Tungsten grey Gt and about the only little job the guy didn`t do was replace the headlights bought a set off the same guy as Matt and for the sake of £14.99 each the difference is amazing..:) oh and the car looks very nice Matt a credit to your hard work there.
Thanks guys. No suspension on it at the minute though :( need all the top strut housing.
You might be best off using the original springs on your suspension rebuild mate as most o the time brand new springs are the wrong length.

Yep next job :)
Awesome. I didn't want to say before, that having done everything else on the front the fogs needed a bit of TLC to match.
Btw, those indicators. Are the little tabs located properly in the slots that are in the lower edge of the headlights?

Absolutely superb example. Genuine jaw dropping.
Looking nice, you reliase the cooling fan sticker should be on the cold air feed not on the intercooler.
Didnt but thanks for that.
looking good Matt:agree:

Was good to meet you and see the car in the flesh, and most certainly its the little things that make the most difference, and yours litterally does just need little things:agree:
Did you get the 2pin fan connector in the end?
It is indeed the little things but by rectifying everything do you loose some of the originality? Been thinking about this and making all perfect do you loose some of the character of what after all is a 20 year old car?

I tend to agree but does it really matter? We are all different and like our cars different. Excellent car Matt but loose the gearknob.;)
Johnny looking immaculate as always Matt :)
Looks well as per mate! Did you get a sticker for gearknob?
Car looks amazing mate, I am doing the same thing with mine and if it looks anywhere near the same as yours I`ll be well happy, just wanted to know if you have the same issue with mine on the front indicators?
I fitted new headlamps (non genuine as apparently you can`t get the valeo ones anymore), but I fitted genuine front orange indicator lenses, but they sit really low and leave a big gap betweeen them and front wing!
Did you sort it or any ideas on this issue?
looking good Matt:agree:

If you mean the resin cast one - it went months ago. Replaced with some stickers from a guy in France. Looking for a decent/faded one now. Missed one bob sold on ebay a couple of weeks back for £20

I know exactely what you mean but....... Mine isn't perfect! I don't mind admitting it. Original paintwork, slightly scuffed stickers etc. lots of imperfections which show its age. I see what I've done as more of a refresh of things that can be changed (lights, suspension etc). It looks like a 1990 and not one which has been driven out of the showroom yesterday. Difficult one really as if you look at many of the ford clubs now they are doing all metal resprays etc to fully restore them. I've not needed to fully restore mine as it has been well looked after in the past so just bringing it up to speed with bits and bats! Clean but not perfect (and proud of that fact). :)
Looks well as per mate! Did you get a sticker for gearknob?
Yes pm me if you want guys contact details in France. Bit pricey but do the trick. Need to root it out for someone else too.
