right everyone, i have had the rear half of my safety devices fitted to my 5 for a while now but i have just got the front half aswell. I know cages can be sligtly difficult/ fiddely to fit but would it be best if i unbolt the rear cage and offer the whole thing up again including the front cage, or it is best to fit the front cage first etc etc ???

Any tips / pointers would be appreciated :)

Thanks

I found it easier to loosely fit/bolt the cage together, bolt/weld it to the floor, then tighten up the cage bolts.

yeah cheers mart, need to spray the front to match the rear, so will pull the whole thing out and start from scratch when fitting

i agree with mart.
dont try adding or removing parts with the rest bolted tightly together as things dont like to come out and they have to be forced. i now have a dent and a massive chunk of paint missing from my roof from being stubborn .
