advice pls !! I found a good looking alpine turbo for sale should i buy it or not ?

Help pls , i found this nice alpine a reasonable price... only problem is its a french LHD car.
Should i go over to france , buy it and import it back by insuring on chasis no? etc will i need to convert the steering wheel ? how can i do this ? as it seems to be a really nice looking car with only 30k km on the clocks i really want to get my hands on it. can anyone advise me on how to proceed , any of you already imported a car from france?

I have a mate that lives in France and can advise on what is required .Fairly simple to bring into UK , the other way round is more complicated .He could also transport it over for you dependent on where it is .He visits UK every month and has covered transporter .

You will of course be paying a premium for a French car ? They tend to sell for double/treble UK RHD prices ....I have another option for you ;)

the car is in paris but can arrange to have it dropped at callais or where ever needs be.
the car is under £1000 and im sorry i get confused with french terminology and UK its a r5 alpine in france (r5 gordini over here) not an alpine v6 sorry i didnt explain that very clearly.
