wont spring back in neutral gear.??

ive not long bought a 225 cup..

car has had a new clutch and flywheel fitted last year by the last owner..

The last owner did not mention anything about the gearghange but the lever seems dificult to get it into gears and there is no spring return when the lever is pushed in neutral..:scratch:

is there an adjustment on these or could the garage have missed a spring of some sort?

i have'nt looked into how the gearshift system works on these yet..and have asked the garage that has done the work so far to look into it.. one of the chaps is an ex renault tech.

but low and behold everytime i pick the car up its been overlooked..:sad2:

could ill fitting cables or missing spring of some sort sound about right..

dont really wont to hear 'gearbox out job' or its curtains for the little french fancy..:(
