Right I am putting a feeler out as looking to get back into a 5. I have around 3k to spend and looking for a modifed oneto be honest. I miss my old one and want one with a bit of punch rather than a standard lump as I am use to a turbo as it is.....even though its a vauxhall:sad2:

Let me know what is about please:D

How modified? Just engine upgrades for power or other bits too? Mine will be for sale soon, and you'd still have a good chunk left to make it your own

Well I would like to see the best part of 180-200bhp (reliable if that's possible) not bothered if its tracked based/ stipped inside or completely standard but must be standardish body. No OTT bodykits or anything major. Decent suspension and nice exhaust would be good and a decent set of wheels but not essential.

Haz's motor = rapido 200bhp all day long.

I think the last time you saw it was when it was white with blue squares? It had the Volvo lump with 230bhp. After it not selling at the price I wanted I sold alot of parts separately. What was left has sat in storage for a while but no one wants a rolling shell, no matter how mint, unless its on their doorstep so I've built it back up as a track based gtt. Robin has broken his car so I have took his engine and ancillaries with the opinion that the more gtt it is the more interest I may get when it comes to selling it. Amongst other things it now has a 285 cam and large t25 and shall be sold with a fresh rollers printout once it's been checked and setup by scoff for around 200bhp, along with a fresh mot and tax. I'm still sourcing bits and got bits to do to make it as tidy as possible so no final price yet but looking around 2200 with what I have planned but happy to adjust/finish it to suit the new owner if it was sold within the club. The rest of the car has been modfied std bits so not to ott on the outside bar the colour scheme with the biggest features being the rad in the boot and a very simplistic engine bay, last time the clutch was done it took 3hrs, being easy to work on was the main intention.
