What oil?

Hey guys,

what oil is the best for transmition in 5gtt? Also need new break fluid and have no idea what should I buy. The car is OE whit no mods...

The car is oe with no mods... just run oe type stuff then

75w90 for gearbox oil (99% sure) 3.4l capacity

a good quality brake fluid is fine dot 4

So its 3,4l for the gearbox, is the ELF TRANSELF NFJ 75W80 ok? How much brake fluid do I need?

I always thought gearbox was 75w/80 thats what ive always run in mine.And is what we list at work aswell.

yep a litre will be enough to flush through brake lines

75w80 is listed for the renault 5 - the renault 5 gtturbo takes 75w90 as per the book

allthough i have 75w80 at work so this is what my car got, freebie :)

And another one, how much antifreez do I need as Ill be flushing the cooling sistem?

Also not sure if Motul Motylgear 75W-90 (http://www.ebay.de/itm/1L-Getriebeol-75W-90-Motul-Motylgear-8-99-L-/400157495404?pt=Autopflege_Wartung&hash=item5d2b3ed06c#ht_2060wt_1396) is OK for my R5GTT? Any other oil for transmition?
