Robbie has just gone 10.8 @ 134 at pod today, first run, so here's hoping his gearbox holds out for some more !

10.6, fantastic :) That's the quickest anyones gone on a JC5, by a long way I think.
Gibbo, yes, all data and pics are with PFC for that day, I've not heard anything to suggest that it won't get used. :)

I've just come back from Pod with Robbie (turbo ted), witnessed 2 10.7@133mph and then the 10.6@133mph! Well done that man:agree:
Play was ended with a snapped driveshaft, looks like the spline/bearing carrier which sits in the box passenger side has let go but the box has held out all day which made him happy and me too since i got it built for him! :)
Did anyone get any video ?
Mark, how did the lag look in 2nd gear ? I was a bit worried it might struggle with the big turbo.
Cracking results! Look forward to seeing it run :)

here i am in the 10's!! I did only 4 runs, all in the 10's, 10.8, 10.7, 10.7 and then 10.6 to top my day off.
back for more on 1st of April to a test and tune day

Not too sure if anyone got vids, maybe his missus did.
Scoff mate, there seemed to be no lag at all it pulled very hard and didn't loose spool through any of the gears. On the 10.6 run it just seemed to just grip and go! :laugh:;)
Robbie did say once it hit 3rd gear it just took off

here's a better video of a 10.7 run....other ones were bit shakey!
you can see from the video there is no lag from this garrett gt35r turbo with piper 285 cams this seems to be a very good combo, time for a bit more boost maybe:D
