After not giving the mothers escort a clean for ages I decided to give it the works over 2days.It's an 89 xr3i limited edition colour,A.B.S,we have fitted a Kent cam and uprated valve springs along with a ported polished gas flowed head as the old one was knackered.It was one previous owner from new and he worked for Ford and always wax oiled it while always keeping it in a garage like we do.The milage is only 78k and it's used 5 days a week.Unfortunately where it's parked people have damaged it opening doors and sciffing it but its still in great nic.Just needs a new hood and the identical spare set of wheels someone gave me refurbed.I wouldn't mind showing it in the summer at the rsoc.It's good to have 2 80's icons in the family

Anyways here's some pics I gave it a coat of new formula super resin,476 collinite double wax and swapped the drivers seat to the passengers to even the wear.Good old Recaros.Done many other cleaning stages including feeding leather,shampo'ing carpet etc my neighbours thought it was going to a show
