Anyone got a rough price how much it costs to bore out the centre of a set of 4 wheels? Also what size do they need to be bored out too to fit gtt hubs?

I got quoted about £20 a wheel by countless machine shops.. Then this one shop said ... oo your looking about... mmmmmm... £7.50 per wheel... needless to say they got the work.

£20 a wheel, everyone wants to be a millionaire these days. £7.50 a pop sounds fair.

I'm sure you need to get them bored out to 60.1mm :)

Cheers guys 7.50 ain't bad, going to start looking for local machine shops. Can anyone double confirm that its 60.1? Does sound about right to me.

60.1 mm is what the GTT hub is :agree:

I paid £20 each, they had to lathe through from the back about 40mm deep and leave the lip on the front so the centre caps still fit.

There's no way I would be able to do it myself, at least I know its done properly.

I had them done to 60.2 just to be on the safe side

ET35 is standard size matey, 60.1mm bore, 4x 100PCD, I used to run ET37 but had to run 3mm spacers on front so tyres could clear coilovers

Offer cash, they might drop the price. There's always someone who'll do it in a lunch break for beer tokens

I have found some wheels with et25, will this throw the handling out as its for track day tyres?

That will push the rims out a bit Gary, my rims are et 30 and et 35 I'm sure jimmy bs where et 20s on a 16 with a 7.5 inch rim

That should be ok then i guess and itl give it a bit of a wider stance. They are still only 7j, would prefer 7.5 or 8j as there only going to be for track so doubt il need to get to full lock, but there cheap:D

7J on 15s should be all good for trackdays, ideal for 888 tyres. I guess having ET25 gives you a wider track :)

Mat I have no idea what that means really matey:ashamed::laugh: will the larger offset throw out the handling? I was going to pm you about maybe if you could, set up the car as I need to find some grip somewhere:scratch:
