Washer jets on the 172

Does anyone know if the washer jets have thier own fuse, basically the car failed the MOT on them not working, the pumps work, the stalk must work as the wipers come on as they would if you used the screen wash, just the jets don't work off the stalk :scratch:

The previous owner has got round this by fitting a switch to the pump :rolleyes:, now I only just noticed this, anyone know if the MOT man will pass it like that or have I got to look for the cause of the stalk not working properly :crap:

I'm sure the way yours is with a button/switch is fine for mot purposes. You may just have to tell them where the switch is.
