thanks, another reason i bought it was the recent respray and new wings/boot/bumpers and bonnet. Tbh ive always wanted a red, but will always love raider blue.
Saw this on ebay, tidy looking 5. Welcome to the club.

thanks for the comments lads. im from the bradeley/chell heath area blunty, never seen any 5s in stoke fer donkeys.
Theres some nice motors on this site and some mental ones too, dont think ill change much on the car other than keeping the engine tip top.
Ill have to have it dyno'd to see what the car will come up with... but on checking it does have a jetted carb and with all the specs hopefully some good figures.:smokin:
Been looking for 4x 195 55 13 tyres for less than £200 if anyone can help?

would be interested in the dyno day for sure, whats the price like?
are ther any R5GTT specialist garages in stoke, ive just noticed oil on the drive:scratch:

there is no specialist garage as such anymore fella, there used to be ep motorsport ran by ian nixon and justin keeling, they are both still about and work on 5s i have both of there contact details if you want them.
price for dyno day is £40 for 3 runs with color printouts etc, its a good way to meet a few members off here etc, also there is a big rtoc rolling road day in sept that me and scoff are sorting out.
onto one of your first questions i know of a few 5s around stoke, 2 in blurton,1 in longton then mine in milton plus yours now :)

cheers for the info mate, can you pm their details as i wanna get this oil situation sorted asap, have found out ive got a cossie oil catch pot thingy lol and i dont think its piped 100% correctly.
pencil me in for the dyno pal as i have no idea about power figures for the car, the previous owner didnt have a scooby either. ive been in a few 5s (a passenger in one that rolled too!) and its definatley quicker than the others but time will tell.
would be nice to meet up and introduce meself and meet the other loonies!:)
got a thatcham cat1 test at ice house on friday booked up for proof for my insurance, and ive got my new jack/brace in a nice new leather bag from ebay today.
also picked up 2x195/55/13 P600 today aswel........ just gotta find another 3!
