First issue with rebuild.....

I am have come across my first issue, it's only a small one and I am sure there will be more but a spot of help would be appreciated please....

There is a bracket that comes off the bottom of the down pipe with a support bar connected. Where on the block/head does this connect to?

Need to get this done so I can put on the manifolds, starter loom and starter heatshield...

i think the support bar is bolted to one of the manifold studs

That would make sense. Can anyone else confirm???

I bent my bar to bolt to the threaded stud on the back of the block. Easier to fit and less stress on the head.

The bar bolts on to one of the manifold studs, the plate bolts to the block.

This is where the oe one should bolt.

But due to me running a tubular manifold and there not being much room I now run one off the block.

That pic was perfect! Good bit of handywork making your own bar to connect to the block too. :)

I am practising my welding at the moment, and god am i awful!!lol. Not going anywhere near the 5 yet!
