possible gear box problems

I have recently chnaged the gearbox on my 182 and now on the odd occasion I have trouble selecting third gear, I have not had time to have a look, first thing im gunna do is adjust the gear linkage then see if that helps. but I was wondering if any one else could advise me and suggest anything else to try if my solution dont work??
