Oil temp sender placement

Hi I've got a mocal mechanical oil temp gauge just want to know where everybody fits the sensor it's at the bottom of the turbo oil feed at the mo but don't think it's getting the best reading was thinking about putting in the sump plug place any help appreciated thanks sorry put it in the wrong board should be in the gt turbo one

Best place for oil temp would be sump
