just wondering what the best way is to remove the dizzy drivegear?

I have assembled the engine and want to allign it properly. is there a bolt that will screw in to it to make it easier?

Just place a large flat head screwdriver into one of the slots on the drive gear it should move quiet easily one way, make sure engine @ TDC and rotate gear to correct position:agree:

long nose pliers are very handy in this situation....

Thanks for the advice gents :agree:

all sorted now........turns out I was just being a pussy (too scared I would break it) :laugh:

I used a big ass screwdriver and gave it a firm twist and it came loose :smokin:
