part of the reanult extra van crew now as there is only about 5 or 6 of them in the club:laugh:
been putting the van together now for the last few months now and finally finished it.
ive only just concrated realy on the outside of the van and the way it looks.you cant realy do much to it but i just wanted to smarten it up.inside ive put some gt turbo seats inside and fitted the clio 16v steering wheel.
decked out the back with rubber mats fitted them tight and fits in well(jigsaw tiles)NOTHING now slides around anymore :agree:the engine in the van is a 1390cc engine 80bhp(E7J) filled to the later clios.its not a bad engine to be fair and drives well esp on the motorways its nippy enough but nothing to the turbo engines :(.
the best ive managed so far it £15 and got 105miles :agree:i wont be changing the engine though as ill be using it much more often and cant be spending wonga on petrol.ive a 500 mile round trip to do next wk 350 miles so a engine like that is spot on for me.
the car has been lowered 35 mm front and the rear at about 50 mm.side repeaters is phase 2 ive changed them.rear shocks has been changed to std ones just fresh ones.ill get some more pics up soon though:agree:

yeh i was lookin around for one for ages i was pretty lucky.brought for £800 and 6 months road tax.there has been other things ive sorted out myself and spent more on it but now its all ok:)ud be suprised in how much room is in the back of that van.with it being lowered actually handles pretty well:laugh:
when i 1st got it and driving it down the motorway the van was left and right with the wind hitting against it:eek::(but now its all good:)
i was thinking of changing the front end to a turbo but seems theres quite abit of work to do so may as well leave it.

Ive just started a tyre fitting business and at the moment collecting my own tyres from a local place so my picasso has been getting battered, just waying up wether or not running a van aswell is viable

one of the reasons on why i had sold the 5 :(and brought the van.i knew one of the reasons was that if i did keep the car then that also would get battered and then id kinda not keep up ontop of it then just cant be bothered with it.:cry:least with the van u can chuck the stuff in the back and its not to bad quick clean and its all ok,plus still got the looks of the 5:cool::laugh:might not to be to everyones taste but you know i thought why not, cheap enough all round plus its simple:agree:
id love to drop the turbo engine but i know id always keep it on the gas :Dthe clio 16v engine wouldnt be a bad one either.
front end pic conversion.

Had one myself as a daily for 3 years. They are great.
The white express van with the gtt conversion is a friend of mine. At 1/8 mile races at zolder the people loved it when it was killing bmw's and audi's. :D
Also funny seeing a van on the Ring.

yeh it is mate pretty quite as well considering that it had been lowered as well.more solid than the astra van i drive now:confused:.the cills i think have had a bit of welding done to it,but on the drivers side cills is abit off the line at the rear on the picasso cill.undersealed the inner cills so all good:).
ditch the picasso and find your self a extra van mate:laugh:
though saying that it was quite a find to find this one :crap:taken a long while :coffee:dont think theres many left now at all:confused:
