What you looking at big BHP though, as the valeo volvo turbo clutch will cope with most renault 5 when running up to about 200bhp and will last for ages if you dont launch it off everywhere.

If you are wanting to run more you will need to look at a paddle clutch but then that wont be too good on the road. As for looking at running that sort of power im guessing you will be going with NOS to get it up, as 230bhp seems a limit for making power out of these engines and then it will be a lot of money and time to make any real gain from that.

i took my clutchcover (sachs) to www.kawe.nl (http://www.kawe.nl)

they made it 150% stronger :) so i will take about 400 Nm torque. the plate is a 4 paddle

im running a valeo volvo turbo clutch cover with a ap 4 paddle ceramic friction plate, i think the valeo volvo turbo clutch will do you the job just fine your looking at 120 quid for the volvo assembly but after that it gets pricey.

I paid 200 quid just for my friction plate and you would need the volvo cover any way id fit the volvo clutch and plate do your mods get as far as you can bhp wise and if it does start slipping get the friction plate from http://www.techcraft.co.uk/

valeo part number is: 801015. (please check some one!!!!)

and maybe this would help also:

200bhp is hard enough, 250 bhp is EFI and expensive, 300bhp is EFI, NOS, expensive and loads of boost!
