Carb sucking ...

Whats missing on the back of my carb ? Right below my thumb ?

Cover it up - sucking stops.

I know the choke cable / assembly isnt on. That is by design.

Block it up mate, refit the cam for fast idle. You will be losing boost no doubt.

Ill get some grade A blocking material on it pronto.

Just refit the cam mate will take 5 mins, and the bonus of fast idle for a cold engine

I didnt take it out ! I wonder WTF that has gone ? One side might have dropped out but the other end still in place ?

Say "someone" had lost the bit that fits in the hole there - could I fill the hole with chemical metal to seal it up ?

That was my thinking. Best get it double checked by a fixer ( Ie you ! ) than a bodger ( ie me ! )
