Alternative idea to attach front bumper

Hi,
So i noticed on the http://www.primaracing.com/index.aspx front page the the R5 had a round black hole where the bumper bracket is but on the outside.... has anyone ever used this method to hold the bumper on. if so do you have any pictures....
