The clio F7p and f7r engine's have an electric pump in addition for exactly this

Probably easier/cheaper to spend time on making the fuel pump prime before starting.

Even fuel pump priming wont make any difference. Ive had the pump hard wired when my relay failed and it started exactly the same when hot. Its due to fuel evaporation.

Brigsy, your right :agree: Some 5`s are worse than others for hot starts in exaxtly the same spec. Just something most owners learn to live with ;):D

As the lads say it probably wont help lot, but if you really wanted an electric pump then you could pinch the pump and timer relay from a 21 turbo. It runs for a few minutes after the engine has been switched off.

It also fecks up and drains the battery ....I've disconnected mine as the relay kept drawing amps constantly ....

It might start better if you do the wiring mods to get more current to the ECU while the starter is going.

I could do with one of these to circulate the water around the engine and turbo after shutdown. The gt28r even when left to idle for a few mins bubbles the water after I switch off ... You can hear and feel it boiling in the water pipes to and from the turbo.

I've got a couple of aux water pumps from R19 16v and Clio 16v if any of you guys wanted one.
Used to have one on my sprint car, powered it up after a run with a jump pack for 25 mins to circulate the coolant. Suppose a timed relay would do the same?

I would be interested in one matt ... Have seen a 10min timed relay I can get ... Will try to get a 5 min relay if I can. Please let me know how much you want for one mate ... Thx.
