View Full Version : LUK clutch
Anyone had experience of these in general ? Are they well made ? Up to the spec ?
I've spotted they list for GTA turbo and Atmo so that shows they know there is a difference

I had a bought a luk flywheel and clutch to fit to my audi but when the garage fitted it and started up the car couldnt get any gears. Took it apart and found the clutch plate had seperated from the spline! Sent it back to Luk and got a full refund!
We sell some LUK clutches at work, we mainly sell their DMF though as we sell mainly sachs and national clutches. But not heard anything bad about LUK

Not had good experiences with LUK. Cheap if that is what you want but didn't last very long.
So...... some good some bad .
Got a couple of GTA turbos in next month for clutches .Trouble is there is limited aftermarket supply for turbo versions and Atmo I expect .They are around £130
Renault list Valeo Ren25T @ £225 +vat and recommend you bin the release bearing and get another , £16 ....
GTA owners tend to be a bit tight  but won't want it doing twice ...rock and a hard place :coffee:
