They are normally a special hybrid but based on a Garrett GT2260VK that is fitted to 3.0 TDI Audi engines.

Is there a VNT which bolts onto the oem exhaust manifold and could produce a good power?
I have read the threads about VNTs and I have found a lot of VNTs but I do not know which to choose. Which has a turbine housing that fits to the exhaust manifold?
I'm planning to give VNT a try. I'm running on EFI using MS2.

Ideally that would need a bigger front compressor wheel and front housing. But it will work as it is. I converted a few of them a few years back and they were pretty pokey

You might be right. But I need the challenge from time to time. :D

I'd like to have at least the same power as my current T25. I have currently 210hp@21psi.
Is the GT 2052v enough for such power or the compressor modification is a must?
Unfortunately AdamL is too far from me. But a std. GT2052v could be found easily also in Hungary.
( Or if someone have a good vnt for sale.... I'll join ND next weekend. ;) )

There are some bigger ones out there with the correct manifold flange form the gtt manifold it's finding the correct one

GT2260V

GT2560v off a VW 2 transporter which is what Philr5t has on his and a different actuator setup on his aswell which removes spiking

I did a quick search. And GT2052v is easy to find but the other 2. :sad2:

Thanks Mart,
maybe I drop him a PM.
But the GT2052v which was suggested by Finch is easy to find also here in Hungary at a good price.

It is just that my car is really good with the current T25. So it's time to try another route...

Anyway we will start in 3 days. ;)

What would be the suggested comp wheel and housing?

I have a GT2260v that came from an Iveco Daily van. The Audi ones are harder to come by and tend to be quite expensive. Some BMWs use them too but they have an electronic actuator and they have some extra letters on the end of their designation, like GT2260vkx or something?
