Hi guys, whats the best tyre to use on my 5 using 15in rims. The car will only be as a summer weekend run car. So would prefer grip over long lasting. whats your recommendation guys.

I think uniroyal rainsport 2 will be best option 160quid for 4 on eBay. I pld with the idea of r888s but wet weather put me off them.

As said in the linked thread, people (myself included) have had good experiences with Toyo T1R's on the gtt.

yep not being clever or cocky just stating its there with lots and lots of info,as folk find other ways to do things or recommend new ways then great but i just think its overlooked or they just dont know its there!!!..so pass the message!!

Toyo T1-r's are best value for money. Go for either 195 45 15's or 195 50 15's and you can't go far wrong. If your feeling flush go for the Goodyear eagle F1 GSD 3's...:coffee:

No, it's about road AND track tyres :cartman:

The T1R's are a road tyre, not a track tyre.
