Fed up of realising iv not got a washer when it comes to it, anyone know correct size as thinking of just buying a big pack so will never run out lol.

I thought it was this size 18 x 24 x 2 - but in the add it says except renault 5?

I always get mine when I buy an oil filter from Renault, the guys at the Parts desk know me so well now they just stick a sump washer in with the filter, no charge ;)

I know halfrauds do the right size washer, get yaself a trade card and there only like 10p each or somit

I buy my service parts from mike and their is always a sump washer in the box with the oil filter;)

Yes to RTOC members I supply OE Oil Filters with sump washer cheaper than Renault.

No worries it is good for me to stay on top of prices so just checked Renault parts.

For some strange reason I seem to have got very cheap prices face to face, just rang up to get a price and got quoted RRP by Renault so best to stick with Mike after all. Seems I just got lucky. Maybe the parts guy got a shag the night before I went in. :laugh:

thing is how far do you live from reno dealers?,if close then fine but time and fuel to travel there to collect parts..mike aint that much more!!,im not going to travel 30+miles to reno an rinse fuel when i can pick up the phone and get it cheaper...

you can make very good sump washers out of old gaskets...;)

Haha last time i wanted some sump washers from renault think they wanted to charge me about £1.20 eaach. Got a couple of oil filters for when i need them but no sump washers.

Not fussed if its from renault or not just wouldnt mind a load so i wont run out anytime soon, il get down halfords then and get a few if there only 10p ish
