Also I had a quote today for a full set of uprated silicone hoses for my 5 from sfs I think that's there name I wanted black ones as I ain't a fan of the bright coloured ones it came to 560 pounds I thought that was a good price what do you guys think

i have had bad results from samco and prefer oe for durability.

So you prefer the standard hoses then it's just smacks are just so exspensive

i do now prefer standard after having samco for 4years,they dont last near as well as oe,if yours are ok then id save your money tbh.

i got a top rad SFS hose for mine and it was 1.5"too short!!:(

I have a mixture of samco/sfs hoses on my car, had them for nearly 8 years and probably over 50k miles, only had one issue and that was my fault for over tightening the jubilee clip.

They still look ok to, not minty fresh but ok.

Maybe the older ones were better quality?

The chinese ones are ok, i have them on my van. Save the £££ and get them
