What is a standard engine really worth

in the renault 5 world, running, about £150.

in most other classic car worlds, £500.

It's just a running engine head gasket done last year 93,000 miles completely standard

It would also depend on what goes with it too, is it a bare engine or does it have everything still fitted to it (carb, turbo, hoses, etc). That will vary the price alot but if its good working engine then mimimum you'd prob get for it is around £150

Plus depends on where the engine is, as people will have to collect it. Got one currently on eBay with 12 watchers so far and thats up for £200, but does come with turbo and carb,

Out of how many watchers on yours as would be surprised with no bids at that value.
