because there mint buddy.

See you tend to find a hugeee price diffrence between a somthing thats mint, i/e all fixing points, no scratches etc, than if you have 1 tiny defect.

I wouldn't class them as mint, they got 76k miles miles which is below average miles for these cars, but they are faded loads, think the set with 159k miles on them which we got have more colour in them than that. If two people want to pay that high for them then thats up to them though. Anyone want a mint set with 53k on the clock :) might need to go into breaking mint cars with great parts on it :coffee:

Erm, sure why not  think I can make a lot of money with just the parts I got stored here, why do I see new bits on eBay and purchase them, its not healthy, I'm sure a brand new Renault boxed wiper stalk switch will be useful sitting somewhere where I can find space, think I might collect enough bits to build up another renault 5 of new items :)

There not mint, there faded loads probably full of dust and the seller even says no "major" scratches which means theres loads of little ones all over it. I bought a set last year same as that for £25 amazing how much prices rise in less than a year.

i got a couple of sets of dials in the last 8 months or so. most i payed was £20 i think. similar condition too. that is a crazy price to pay for a set of clocks in average condition.

Blame the people bidding, not the seller...

they are the easiest things to wind the clock back on.... i could rustle up a 1000miler mint set of renault 9/11 turbo clocks (with all the pretty colours on) for £80 if you want.
wind clocks back with screwdriver.
polish out scratches with paint restorer.
rejuvenate oranges with marker pen....
