Hi all looking for some advice.

Current setup on car is vented discs updated clutch and gearbox. Looking to move from a t2 to a t25. I'm being advised against going for a 285 cam although from what I've seen this would be the best option.

I am looking for 180bhp+(pref 200) and will be drag racing it for a bit of fun and track daying it. Still would like to use it as road car.

Any advice would be well received.

Ty in advance.

BP285 cam is a good move - Just make sure it's dialled in correctly.

200hp will make for an awesome track car, even better if it's rolling on slicks, but at that level of power, on track, keep an eye on top-end fuelling.

Never a bad idea to take a look at (improving) the suspension as well.

They'll make the most noticeable difference of all the parts you end up fitting :agree:

For suspension, £ vs performance, Koni is as good as it gets, imho - Not so important for drag racing though.

Buying direct from Piper = Cheaper :)

Can do checked with piper and it's 200quid plus vat plus what ever springs are. Cgb Motorsport is 169.99 plus 65 quid for valve springs inc vat.

ok i phoned up..

group buy

based on 5 people =

Regrind (we send standard cams in) with springs £200 inc delivery

Newcams (we dont have to send standard cams in) £275 inc delivery

If you want a ADJ vernier £110 extra

All prices include VAT, not a massive saving over cgb, but a saving none the less, unless we could haggle prices down more.. ??

I'm not sure wheres cheapest at the mo. I bought mind from Demon Tweeks with discount a few years ago, perhaps give them a call?

Usually buying the cam/springs direct from Piper is cheapest..... :)
