Samco hose kits

[Renault 5 GT Turbo]

Can anyone help me identify which Samco kits I need to do the whole engine bay?

I have a standard Phase 2 with no dump valve. I want to replace all coolant, induction and boost hoses.

Looking at the Samco site, it is not immediately obvious which kits I need. I am reluctant to order until I know what I need.

Can anybody advise? I am keen on there 'classic' finish pipes which have the OE finish.

Hi dave , well youll pretty much need them all ....:), i have the black "oe" finish hoses on my hillclimb car and i must say theyd look perfect on a mint and oe car such as yours:agree:

Ok I have studied the photos a little more closely, I am still a little confused as to which I need for my car with regards to the boost pipes, see last two codes/links...anyone advise?

The first pic is the one you need mate as it has the take off for the boost pressure sensor on the shorter pipe ;)

I have heard some dodgy stuff about SFS hoses. Can't afford to have any failures as the R5 is run as my company car. Other folk in my company take the obligatory new BMW 320d, I need to prove them wrong!!!

I prefer SFS hoses to Samco. The main improvement being the bleed screws in the water hoses - Samco's are dog turd!

Rumour has it SFS was started by a guy who previously worked for Samco, so he knew all of their faults, and was able to rectify them ;)

I'd stick oe Hutchinson hoses on then. They've proved themselves countless times to last over 100k miles, and are preferred over silicones by a lot of people on here for their durability :cool:

Would do but I understand they are no longer available and if people have them they want silly money for them!...£70+ a pipe (insane).

I have a friend who knows some one at Samco so I am going to get a price on a full set before I decide what to do.
