Hi fellas
Does A r5 gtt have a starter relay?.
Im having issues with starting.
There is a relay clicking once every 10 secs or so any ideas.
I have a new starter on its way , which is quickest way to
Get it in .
Any ideas at mo needed

There is NOT a relay in the starter circuit but there is the solenoid on the starter motor which makes the high current circuit close and engages the drive gear into the flywheel.

You say theres a relay clicking every 10 seconds or so, may be a shot in the dark but have you had the rear wiper removed??
i had the same clicking every 10 seconds and it turned out the rear wiper switch was 'on' obviously the wiper wasnt there but the relay still clicks as if it is, try pressing the rear wiper switch and see if the clicking stops, just takes that out of the equation.
